While the diva and the filmmaker have been maintaining success in their own individual tracks all these days, the two are going to join hands only now. According to the latest buzz, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been signed in by director Vishal Bhardwaj for his next venture.

Sources in fact say that the director several times before had approached the actress to work for his projects. However, being such a busy beauty, Aishwarya had refused his offers owing to lack of dates.

Finally Aishwarya is said to have given her nod now. The project is said to be a woman-centric and includes a contemporary romance with unusual twist in the end.

According to sources, Aishwarya was supposed to do Vishal’s first directorial venture ‘Timbucktoo’. Besides, the director wanted to rope her for ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’. But both the times she was unavailable citing date problem.

Now the filmmaker can sigh in relief for convincing the actress to sign on the dotted lines. On the other hand Aish has confirmed the news by saying she and Vishal have been meaning to work together for long time and things are working out now. “He feels I've been saying no far too often, but it wasn't my fault. Things finally are falling into place,” remarked the light eyed beauty.

The film is said to go on floors in 2011.

Hmmm, a great combination of beauty and talent, we say... Expect some 'serious' dhamaka soon....
